Happy St. Patty's Day

My husband and I were talking about St. Patty's Day and I reminded him that he should wear green on Wednesday so he doesn't get pinched. He gave me a blank stare. I said, "You know -- you have to wear green on St. Patrick's Day, or others have the right to pinch you." He continued staring. He has never heard of this.

However I came to this knowledge, I would like to stick by it. It's a good idea to wear green anyway. It's a great colour and flattering to all skin tones. Everyone can find a green he or she can look good in, and, well, you have to wear green so you don't get pinched, people!

We have a lot of green shirts and outfits on the site, but I've shortlisted a few of my absolute favourites!

Favourite #1: Wonderboy Birch Beer button shirt

I love this Wonderboy shirt! Wonderboy, of course, makes the most amazing boys' shirts around and they have the bestest, neatest fabric. And, I can tell you that this family-run business is a delight to deal with. They care about their products and the environment, and this is reflected in their corporate philosophy and practices.

Favourite #2: Knuckleheads Greenie Romper

This romper is so adorable. It's cute and it has fine horizontal stripes. Thank you, Knuckleheads, for bringing us this comfortable, smile-inducing, timeless design. For St. Patty's and beyond! And check out this matching cap!

Favourite #3: Glug Chemistry long-sleeved shirt

Now this is a clever t-shirt design. My son has this shirt and it gets noticed wherever he goes. What's not to like? It has a microscopes and beakers and test tubes and other bio-chem visual references. On the comfort and wearability factor, this long-sleeved cotton shirt tops the scales as well. 100 per cent cotton, durable and all-season. Perfect for this time of the year when it's still a little nippy and all through spring and summer when his arms need to be covered from the sun or hungry mosquitos.

So there you have it. My top three favourite green items. Check out our site for other drool-worthy items -- green or not.

Did I mention we've marked down everything green on the site right now? Limited time offer or until quantities last.
